Mr. Electric Franchise Review 2025: Costs, Fees, News, Average Revenues and/or Profits

Learn Which Franchises Can Make You Rich

Mr. Electric is an electrical services franchise, providing expert repairs and installation for both residential and commercial properties. Reliable electricians are always in demand, as people are so reliant on electricity for their everyday lives and few have the skills to safely carry out home repairs. The range of electrics people need to deal with is growing, as more homes add recent technology such as smart features and electric vehicle chargers.

Mr. Electric offers a safety-first service with competitive pricing to reassure customers who might be anxious about both the cost of the work and the dangers of poorly connected wiring. Franchises deal with the latest developments and provide emergency repairs as well as scheduled visits, providing for the electrical needs of the broadest possible customer base.

The company is part of the Neighborly group of home service brands, meaning that it has behind-the-scenes support from a larger body with broad knowledge of how to manage home services, as well as cross-marketing opportunities with related brands, and this can make it a good option for a franchisee who eventually wants to go bigger, expanding across the valuable home service niche.

"I've seen too many serious franchise buyers fall in love with a brand only to discover their territory is gone by the time they contact the franchisor. This tool was built to prevent exactly that." — Ambrosio, Franchise Chatter

⏳Find Out Which Franchises Are Still Available in Your Area Before It's Too Late
Most franchise buyers spend months researching brands and building excitement — unaware that their preferred territory could be snapped up at any moment. By the time they contact the franchisor, their preferred territory may already be taken. Enter your ZIP code — a territory specialist will verify exactly which franchises are still available right where you want to be.

Electrical services are a relatively recession-resistant part of the economy thanks to their critical importance, which could also make this a good option for a franchisee who has concerns about recent economic turmoil but who doesn’t want that to hold them back from pursuing their dreams of business ownership.

Section V – Financial Performance Representations (Average Revenues and/or Profits) for the Mr. Electric Franchise (Item 19, 2025 FDD)

  • The sales figures listed below are averages and medians derived from historical operating results of the Mr. Electric businesses indicated for the time periods covered.
  • The franchisor obtained these sales figures from information provided to it by Mr. Electric franchisees using Mr. Electric’s software program for the period from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 (the “Reporting Period”).
  • Franchisees are not required to use generally accepted accounting principles when reporting these figures.
  • As of December 31, 2024, there were 211 Mr. Electric businesses in operation in the United States, all of which were franchised businesses. This Item 19 includes data from 152 of such businesses for the Reporting Period, which were all in operation and reporting sales for the full 52 weeks of the Reporting Period (the “Reporting Businesses”).
  • This Item 19 excludes data from 41 of the franchised businesses that opened during the year 2024 and were not in operation for the entire Reporting Period and 18 franchised businesses that failed to report reliable data to the franchisor for the full Reporting Period.
  • Nineteen franchised businesses that closed during the Reporting Period are also excluded from this Item 19 because they were not in operation for the entire Reporting Period. Of the 19 businesses that closed during the Reporting Period, none closed after being open for less than 12 months.
  • “Gross Sales” means the total revenues and receipts from whatever source (whether in the form of cash, credit, agreement to pay, barter, trade, or other consideration) that arise, directly or indirectly, from the operation of – or in connection with – a Mr. Electric business whether under any of the Marks or otherwise.
  • Gross Sales exclude sales taxes collected from customers and paid to the appropriate taxing authority and any other bona fide refunds, rebates, or discounts that the franchisor authorizes in writing. Gross Sales also exclude sales from any Excluded Services.
  • All of the franchised businesses for which sales results are reported below were operated by franchisees. The franchisor did not operate any of the businesses. All of the franchised businesses are comparable to the franchised businesses offered by the disclosure document and offered substantially the same services to the public.
  • Some outlets have earned this amount. Your individual results may differ. There is no assurance you will earn as much.
