Lesson #63: Send Us Your Franchise Recommendations and Feel the Benefits

Published on February 23, 2022 by Franchise Chatter Leave a Comment
in Franchise 101: Lessons in Franchising

Learn Which Franchises Can Make You Rich

This lesson is part of our free Franchise 101 course.

At Franchise Chatter, we spend a lot of time putting information about franchises out into the world. Whether it’s our emails, our web content, or the more detailed information we make available to subscribers, a lot of the time we’re set to transmit rather than receive.

America's Most Lucrative Franchises of the Year

But we also like to hear back from you. It’s particularly great to hear your recommendations for up-and-coming franchises you think others are missing out on.

Sharing that information might sound counterintuitive. After all, if a franchise looks great, then you want to be able to grab the opportunities it offers for yourself, right?

Well, yes, but there are benefits to sharing the information too…

Lifting Each Other Up

Franchising isn’t a zero-sum game. If other successful people enter the same franchise as you, they’re more likely to help boost its profile than to steal your opportunities. Their hard work will make the brand look good, which will make you look good and attract more business. Working together as a community helps everyone.

The same thing applies to being part of the Franchise Chatter community, a wide group of like-minded individuals with a common goal: finding investment-worthy franchises. If you share your recommendations, then other people are more likely to do the same thing. This means that you’ll see more of the up-and-coming opportunities and have a better chance to get in on the ground floor of something great.

Building on Each Other’s Research

The other advantage of sharing a recommendation is that you could then benefit from others’ research on it.

If someone sends us a recommendation for a franchise, then we’ll go look into that franchise. There’s a good chance that we’ll do more research and analysis, and then write about it, either in our emails, on our website, or in our reviews for subscribers.

The details you provide at the start create a jumping off point for our research, which may raise insights and data that you didn’t find by yourself. Further feedback from our community can enrich your understanding and vary your perspective. Maybe one of our other readers knows something that’s not widely known about the franchise, and your recommendation will spur them to share it.

By working together and leveraging each other’s research and intelligence, we all become better informed. Everyone wins!

You’ll get a lot out of Franchise Chatter, but you’ll get even more if you share a little back in return. Consider sending us your franchise recommendations, and even subscribing to our member’s service for the best in-depth insights our community has to offer.

🤷‍♀️Why Work with a Franchise Broker?

A good franchise broker can help you to find the right franchise. They provide:

✅ Recommendations based on their assessment of historical financial performance (Item 19, FDD) instead of just franchise marketing materials.

✅ Franchise matches based on your goals, strengths, and passions.

✅ Demographic analysis to find franchises that could work in your area.

✅ A portfolio of franchises to meet almost any budget, interest, or goals.

✅ Referrals to other specialists, like franchise lawyers.

✅ Information on financing sources.

✅ Coaching in the due diligence process, based on experience with dozens of candidates.

✅ Help presenting yourself in the best light, to increase your chances of success.

✅ No fees for their services: franchisors pay them a success fee if an agreement is signed.

To get started, fill out this form, and a specialist from the Franchise Brokers Association will reach out to you.

👍”Your website and you have been instrumental in finding this franchise opportunity and I am overwhelmingly grateful.” (David F., subscriber)
