FC: What would you say are your brand’s biggest differentiators for prospective franchisees looking to invest?
AP: Knockout Sports Bar is one of the most affordable franchise opportunities in the specialty-casual sports bar industry of its size and sales. Our chef-driven menu features a modern twist on traditional bar food. This includes our homemade 95% fat-free game-changing wings that are the healthiest wings in the country, being perfected over the past 20 years. Plus, we serve the coldest bottled beer in the United States at 26-degrees. Alongside our menu offerings, our staff, engaging champion-like Knockout girls, provides our guests with a one-of-a-kind experience.
FC: What qualities make Knockout Sports Bar a strong business opportunity for franchise owners?
AP: We encourage our franchisees to build out in a 2nd generation restaurant property, rather than build their own location. Building out an existing restaurant provides a very low cost to the franchisee as many features, particularly kitchen appliances, are already installed. Plus, the property value increases by 100% over the first year of opening. Additionally, Knockout Sports Bar commands a below-industry-average prime cost at roughly 50%, achieving above-industry-average net income.

FC: What is the typical investment to open a Knockout Sports Bar?
AP: We have a franchise fee of $40,000 and the total initial investment comes in at an unbeatable price, ranging from $538,000 to $929,000.
FC: Can you share special discounts offered to potential franchisees?

For franchisees that open six units or more, the franchise fee is $20,000, along with a $30,000 franchise fee for four to five units, and $40,000 for up to three units. Currently, we charge a 5% royalty fee and a 0% marketing fee. Once we are in three states across the U.S., the marketing fee will be 1%, and 2% when we reach five states. Additionally, we provide veterans a $5,000 discount in all categories and only charge a 1% marketing fee throughout the entire term of our franchise agreement.
