Statement of Average Sales and Expenses of Company-Operated Chili’s Restaurants (Unaudited) for the 52 Weeks Ended June 26, 2013

  • The following information is based on the actual experience of company-operated Chili’s Restaurants that were open for at least 30 months before June 26, 2013. It is not based on the actual experience of franchised Chili’s Restaurants.
  • Certain charges you must pay and other differences in the expenses you may incur (including development fees, franchise fees, ongoing royalty fees, technical services fees, and advertising contributions) are noted in the “Bases and Assumptions” for the data contained in this analysis (see Part 2). These items are not included in the calculation of average results set forth below because company-operated Restaurants do not incur these expenses.
  • Certain benefits and economies of scale the company may have derived as a result of operating multiple Chili’s Restaurants on a consolidated basis may not be available to you.

  • The company’s fiscal year is based on 52 or 53 weeks, rather than the full calendar year.
  • The company closed 3 underperforming Chili’s Restaurants in its 2013 fiscal year. The 3 closed Restaurants were located in California, North Carolina, and Texas. The financial performance below excludes all closed Restaurants because the company did not own these Restaurants for the full year.
  • All figures below are expressed in thousands.
