1. Pizza franchises come in four varieties: traditional (Papa John’s), take-n-bake (Papa Murphy’s), buffet (CiCi’s Pizza Buffet), and as part of a gaming center (Peter Piper Pizza, Shakey’s). Some franchises combine elements of two different formats (for example, Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet restaurants have redemption center game rooms).

- Peter Piper Pizza (franchised): Average Food and Beverage Sales: $1,224,289 (77.1%). Average Gross Game Sales: $364,099 (22.9%). Average Total Revenue: $1,588,298 (100%)
- Pizza Patron (stores owned by a certain Mr. Swad): ranging from $372,520 to $825,384
- Pizza Schmizza (franchised): Top 25%: $556,387; Second 25%: $378,871; Third 25%: $289,169; Fourth 25%: $182,775
- Shakey’s Restaurants (company-owned): $1,731,109
