(Ambrosio’s note: It’s nice to see Cold Stone Creamery experimenting with new ways of serving frozen yogurt. This is something I’ve been suggesting to all frozen yogurt franchises for quite some time now. It would be interesting to see if this limited time offer will eventually become a permanent fixture on its menu, and if other frozen yogurt franchises will follow suit.)
For a limited time, Cold Stone Creamery is serving up sweet and creamy yogurt creations and yogurt shakes made from Cold Stone’s low-fat, low-calorie yogurt. Their vanilla, chocolate, and raspberry yogurt flavors will be paired with fruits, pie crust, fudge, and other mix-ins to develop various signature yogurt creations and shakes, such as:
Strawberry Crumble – vanilla yogurt mixed with strawberries and graham cracker pie crust
- Chocolate Banana Indulgence – chocolate yogurt mixed with bananas and fudge
- Berries Upon Berries– raspberry yogurt mixed with strawberries and blueberries
- Shake Them Berries – vanilla yogurt blended with strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries
- Powered By Chocolate – chocolate yogurt blended with fudge
Cold Stone announced a nationwide roll-out of frozen yogurt in July of 2011. Staying true to the company’s emphasis on quality, Ray Karam, Cold Stone Creamery’s Senior Tastemaster, developed a proprietary sweet and creamy yogurt recipe instead of the typical pre-packaged mixes of most other yogurt shops.
Cold Stone frozen yogurt comes in non-fat and low-fat flavors that include probiotics and are low-calorie. Flavors start at only 34 calories an ounce, so a “Like it” 5 ounce serving starts at only 170 calories.
The various sweet and creamy yogurt creations and shakes are available now in all Cold Stone locations nationwide.
Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, Cold Stone Creamery is a subsidiary of Kahala, one of the fastest growing franchising companies in the world, with a portfolio of 14 quick-service restaurant brands. Cold Stone Creamery operates more than 1,500 locations in 20 countries.
