What is Bahama Buck’s?
1. Bahama Buck’s sells gourmet shaved ice products, tropical drinks, and frozen dessert confections to the public in a refreshment store that includes in-store, walk-up and drive-up sales.
2. Blake Buchanan opened the first Bahama Buck’s in the summer of 1990. Constructing the original store by hand, Blake enlisted volunteer help from his family, staffed it with friends and college students, and started with one ice shaver. The business caught on and with the help of his wife, Kippi and his friend, Eric Lee, the summer job turned into a full time vocation.
3. Bahama Buck’s Sno is the company’s signature product — a light and airy snow cone, topped with a choice of Original Gourmet Flavors, including Strawberry Cheesecake, Jungle Berry, Creme Bruleè, Birthday Cake with Sprinkles, Passion Fruit, Kiwi and Mango. Bahama Buck’s has an exclusive line of Super Sour flavors, featuring Super Sour Raspberry and all natural Pickle. Customers with diet restrictions can also enjoy flavored snow with Bahama Buck’s selection of Thin Ice (sugar-free) flavors. On the other hand, those who are in the mood to splurge can try the Bahama Rama Mama, a generous scoop of premium ice cream topped with flavored snow and finished off with a drizzle of Tropic Crème.
4. Other menu options include a variety of smoothies, 100% natural lemonades and limeades, pina coladas, other island specialty drinks, and Island House coffee. There’s also Bahama Buck’s Paradise Fruit, which is a fresh blend of seasonal fruits, cut and served fresh daily, with your choice of Buck’s Famous Island Toppings.
