Don't Invest in a Franchise Until You Check Out This List Find the Ideal Business for You

(Ambrosio’s note:  Here’s another franchise-related infographic courtesy of our friends at MDG Advertising.  Personally, what I found most interesting was the section on the top sources of information for evaluating franchises.  87% of those surveyed talked to franchisees, 84% visited franchise locations, 83% read company material, 81% met personally with franchise reps, 51% researched company websites, and (most interestingly, for me at least), only 48% read franchising publications and directories.

One of my goals with Franchise Chatter is to provide prospective franchisees with useful information on a wide variety of franchise opportunities, and the tools they need to evaluate their overwhelming number of options.  Although the contents of this blog are no substitute for meeting face-to-face with franchise reps and current franchisees, it is my wish that, over time, more potential franchisees will look at legitimate franchise publications like this blog as a credible and reliable source of unique and valuable franchise information.)
