There are several online businesses that specialize in sellings FDDs — and their selection is more comprehensive — but for purposes of my FDD Talks, the California website has served me well.
Some franchises, particularly the more established ones, are exempted from filing in California if they meet certain requirements. And, of course, those who don’t offer franchises in California do not have to file with the state. So to fill in these gaps, I’ve reached out to numerous franchises to request for additional information on what makes their opportunity special.
