I have deleted 2 comments, and my responses to these 2 comments, upon specific request of the person who left these comments.
They over sell their support in locating machines. Their only concern is getting a machine placed, convincing you it is ok, then leaving you hanging with locations in many cases that simply provide no ability to pay back a loan or make any money. They then layer franchisee locations, and are not concerned with helping the existing people to get improved locations.
We have also found the distributor to offer poor service. Getting expired items or those close to expiration, and delivering the wrong items with no sense of urgency to correct
Phil – did you invest in Fresh Healthy vending machines? If so where are you located? How long ago did you invest? Are you willing to discuss?
Yes we did invest and are located in St. Charles county, just west of St. Louis, MO. We have had our machines a little over a year. Feel free to call me at 314-324-8678
Just left you a msg on your phone # listed. Eager to hear more from you since all I’ve heard so far has been positive. I’m planning to speak to someone with the company soon to inquire further too but not in any hurry until see what next few years hold for small business owners if our government continues to fail. Concerned how profits are made off the products if you pay so much to get the products. Concerned about how much mechanical tinkering/repairing may be involved & who does the repairs & how much does this cost how often? Interested in your overall view of your business in this business & if you recommend to others? Would like to discuss further one day. Thanks, Wendy
Hi Phil,
Would like to chat about your experience with this franchise. Tried to call your number but it doesn’t connect. Please get back. Thanks!
Can any one tell Avg. Revenue per machine ?
I too am curious about fhv roi information. Good and bad! Thanks!
Seems like another vending scam to me. I have been in and out of vending world for years. What kind of B.S. franchise chatter/expose was this?. Let me tell you something , the minimum investment is over 100k for 10 machines. Do the math, it would take you 20 years if your lucky to see a Return on your Investment. The machines are over priced, they are placed by basic locators ,the product is priced to high and product expires quickly. In my machines I try and sell 30% of healthy items and the rest junk food. YES junk food, thats what people want from a vending machine and it outsells healthy by 2 to 1 margin, I would LOVE to sell all healthy but I would be broke in less than a year. Good luck and do your homework, the concept is good but so is living on Mars.
Sorry, I have changed numbers, please call me at 336-470-2450, or email templeton.phil@yahoo.com to get the REAL scoop on Fresh Healthy Vending. I have been happy to enlighten many folks that were almost sucked into a very poor organization. Do this on your own, and do not pay these people, or find a decent organization. The company DOES NOT work to find quality locations, which is really all you pay them for. They simply find locations and you are then stuck. They are also reselling machines to existing franchisees for only $8000 or less, making it impossible for you to sell to another franchisee should you want to get out of this unprofitable business.
Let me give you the inside information you need to know so you go in with eyes wide open before you potentially make a terrible financial decision.
I agree with previous comments about this business. I purchased in 2009 when it was being sold under the name Yo! Naturals and experienced the same problems as the other vendors (food dates close to expiring, wholesale products overpriced leaving very small margins for profit, poor site selections, etc). They make lots of promises, their tactics are misleading, the machines are outrageously overpriced, and they don’t follow through with additional support after initial placement. I had to threaten a lawsuit to get them to complete the work. It’s a good concept but these are the wrong people to do business with.
I’m glad to have read these comments. I started the process of finding out more about this company and their product. My first step was checking out the website, which gave minimal information and stated that I needed to contact them through e-mail or phone which I did. It took longer than I thought it should for someone to get back to me after a few phone tag sessions. To make a long story short, I had an uneasy feeling when I was only able to speak to someone’s assistant; and they will not give me any pertinent information until I am able to secure $100,000.00 in liquid funds. My impression of this company is that they are unprofessional, so I am glad to read these posts about them. Something didn’t seem right from the start.
Our experience with FHV admin has been abysmal. Therefore my question is; does anyone have a referral for an attorney in San Diego county who has dealt with FHV before?
Thanks and please email to zcrew6@gmail.com
I dont use Facebook, but if you do please refer others to this Franchise Chatter website to view comments about Fresh. The word needs to get out and I dont think a lot of people know about this.
Apart from expiring stock… All the bad feedback seems to be about them doing the work you should be doing? So you’re just going to buy the machines and get them to do all the work for you? But I do agree with the “it taking ages to repay” I can’t see how you can re-pay 100k from 10 machines
You pay them to find locations and they don’t. So no one expects them to do your work, I don’t see that in any of the comments. We did have to find our own locations on top of running the business. What is their value—NOTHING
Does anyone have any info on Fresh Healthy Vending’s micro markets?
