Average Monthly EFT Revenue for Corporate and Franchised Planet Fitness Clubs (2010) – In Thousands
- The following section shows monthly EFT (electronic funds transfer) revenue for corporate and franchised Planet Fitness clubs that have been open and operating for at least 12 months as of December 2010.
- EFT revenue is revenue on recurring membership fees that are automatically collected from club members. This does not include any prepaid membership fees, revenue from retail sales, or other sources of revenue.
- The information included in the section below is for 299 locations, including 42 corporate locations and 257 franchised locations, which have been segregated into three groups based on annual gross EFT revenue (i.e. bottom third, middle third, and upper third).
- June and October reflect the annual Black Card Fee and Maintenance Fee of $39 and $29 per member, respectively. These fees are uniformly imposed. Members of Planet Fitness locations (both franchised and corporate) pay either the Black Card Fee or the Maintenance Fee, not both.
