The item 19 link is down above. Wonder what the average profits are annually? Do you have a similar post on how you had it for Average Annual Net Sales for Yogurtland Franchise:
http://www.franchisechatter.com/2011/08/28/fdd-talk-curious-about-yogurtlands-average-unit-sales-in-2010-wanna-know-the-operating-profit-of-their-affiliate-owned-stores/
Sorry about the broken link, JP. My source of FDDs recently overhauled their entire website, but I’ve corrected the one for Menchie’s. It should be working now.
Unfortunately, each franchise is free to disclose as much or as little financial information as they wish, and Menchie’s disclosures are less comprehensive than Yogurtland’s. My commentary is based solely on the information each franchise provides in its FDD.
Thanks for the heads up, JP!
So what is the bottom line on net income per year for an average Owner Operator who has an average startup cost of a new store. Do you have a year 1 and year two average track record? If you work the system as they say, how much would your Gross Salary be?
Hi Dwright,
Yogurtland is the only frozen yogurt franchise that discusses sales, expenses, and operating profits. Check out their 2012 Item 19 disclosures here: http://www.franchisechatter.com/2012/05/15/fdd-talk-average-net-sales-expenses-and-operating-profits-of-yogurtland-frozen-yogurt-shops-2012-fdd/
Since Yogurtland has the highest average unit volume (i.e. sales) in the industry, I would guess that they also have the highest operating cash flow among the various franchises. Menchie’s average results are probably less, but their estimated initial investment is also less.
Best regards,
Ambrosio
